A fiction-ado much?
0 commentsAre you a fan of novels? If you're going to ask me, I'm not. I much prefer non-fiction books instead.
Now, don't get me wrong. You might picture me out as a nerd that seek out reference books, atlases and encyclopedias for enjoyment (just as what Ms. Trish had imagined - XD). I later found out that using the word "non-fiction" was quite broad. Sorry. Though I also enjoy reading anatomy & physiology books sometimes because I like finding out how the body works and stuff like that.
I was often baffled and amused on how friends and acquaintances can manage to finish a 2-inches wide book because seriously, I can't.
But one sunny day, things changed.
I admit that it is not my first time in reading novels. So I've had this idea that why not try again to read a couple of books of my preference?
I've searched and asked for recommedations and found the Percy Jackson series. And because I like Greek mythology so much, I was able to finish the book 1 in 3 days. Yey for me!
I was also able to finish The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins.
If you dig the young adult kind, why not try Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher? I find it a good read. Though honestly speaking, they could use a multicolored fonts for different characters as I find myself having a headache after reading it.
Currently, I'm reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The book tackles on several sensitive teenage issues and so far, I'm loving it!
